Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus
Feast Day - October 1st
Patron of Foreign Missions
St. Thérèse, known as the “Little Flower,” died of tuberculosis in Lisieux, France, on September 30, 1897, at the age of 24,
and was canonized in 1925. In 1888, at the age of 15, St. Thérèse entered the Carmelite order and was persuaded by her blood sister, Mother Agnes of Jesus, to write her memoirs “Story of a Soul”. Her doctrine of the

A wonderful religious gift.
