with easel back and following description
Our Lady of Perpetual Help
Feast Day: June 27th
Original icon, believed to have been painted by St. Luke, was destroyed by the Turks invading Constantinople. Repainted during the 15th century in Crete, it was sent to Rome, where Pius IX directed the Redemptorists to spread her devotion. They followed the Pope’s directive and spread devotion with copies of the original painting and the initiation of the Perpetual Novena.
A wonderful religious gift.
